Its the midnight. It’s been raining on and off all day. The wind blows from the surrounding forest. Then again the thunder and the roar of the dogs whispered, and from time to time the laughter of the spirits were heard. At the same time, dense lightning strikes the face. But King Vikramark not even disturbed, returned to the ancient tree and climbed the tree to retrieve the dead body. ” Then he spoke -- There was a village called Chitradurga. There is always a quarrel between the residents there. Once, a man named Satyaban came to the village. He is a middle-aged man, and very ill and sick. He called a bystander and asked him where he was staying, and he said, "I'm sorry, I'm an ordinary poor man. I work here and save some money and sleeps under the tree.

You go to the house of Chandrasena on the road ahead or to the house of a rich Suryadev near that. ”With great difficulty, Satyaban approached a large house and knocked on its door. As soon as the house opened, he asked, "Is this the house of the Suryadev ?" Hearing this, the landlord suddenly became very angry and said, “My name is Chandrasena; It makes no sense to come to my house and say the name of the Suryadev. I forgave you this time because you are not from this village. Now you go your own way. ”

Satyaban pleased Chandrasena for his misconception and begged him a place to stay. But Chandrasena's anger was not diminished, so he said, "Of the two names, you remembered the name of the Suryadev, so I can't help you with anything." With that, he closed the door of his house. Poor Satyaban again asked someone the road and reached Suryadev's house and told him his plight. So Suryadev said, "He who first goes to the house of Chandrasena in this village has no place here."Satyaban was helpless this time and tried in other houses as well, but they said, "No one in our village can take refuge in those who did not find a place in the house of Chandrasena or Suryadev."

Satyaban thought that he would leave Chitradurga village and go to another village. He sat down under a big tree and rested for a while. He saw one man is coming. Seeing Satyaban, he said, “Brother, I have heard that neither Suryadev nor Chandrasena have given you a place, if you sit here your story will spread; If you want to rest, go under that small tree and rest. ”

Poor Satyaban got up and somehow reached that base of the tree. Small bushes all around. There he cleaned up a bit and rolled up his towel. At that time, Satyaban was very tired and he fell asleep there. By the time he woke up in the morning, a python snake was wrapped around his body. The snake fled the scene with a slight push of Satyaban. But then he realized that his body was tire free. He feels very healthy at the time; So he thought that any tree in this bush must have medicinal properties. He tried to inspect the tree and found it.

At this point of time that he heard a lot of noise in the distance and came out of the forest and saw that many people had been rounded up and two young men had fainted. The fact is that Chandrasena and Suryadev's two sons have fallen down by beating eachother. So his two parents are bringing their own people and attacking each other. 

Pushing the crowd, Satyaban said, “These two young men are still alive. Why are you fighting without treating them? Rather, let me treat them. ”Hearing his words, the two sides suddenly stopped in their respective places and stood up. Suryadev and Chandrasena, seeing Satyaban, identified him and said, “Yesterday you sat down to die in anger. Who does not treat himself, How will he do for others ? ”

On hearing this, Satyaban said, "You are giving so much time to quarrel among yourselves that the news that there is a medicinal tree in your village has not kept you informed." I myself am a doctor. But I was suffering from a disease that no one could diagnose. So I left home and went to the Himalayas for treatment. But there are so many wonderful plants in this forest that I am completely cured at night. Under the influence of this drug, violent animals like snakes can also behave like kind. If you smell it, the person who dies will be resurrected immediately.

 "After hearing all this, Chandrasena said, "All right, then you try." But if his son rises and my son dies, I will never leave you alive. ” Suryadev said the same thing. Not to be outdone, Satyaban began treating the two injured young men.

After a while, the two young men recovered completely. Seeing all this, Suryadev and Chandrasena were very surprised and happy and asked Satyaban to accept their hospitality. Satyaban said that i cured in this village only. So i accept the hospitality of these villagers. "It will be my job to treat people here from today. onwards" 

Not only is he a true physician, he is also a great scholar. So he decided in his heart that his first duty was to cure the disease of anger and hatred in the minds of the people here. So he tried to keep both his body and mind healthy. Every day he would gather the villagers and explain various spiritual things and entertain them by telling beautiful stories from ancient scriptures and myths. In this way, the dirty and bad thoughts gradually disappeared from minds of the people there. As a result, their virtues developed. Gradually, Satyaban's fame spread to the surrounding villages. Now he thought he would return to his own village.

But at the time, people were so impressed by him that they never left him. “I have a lot of other responsibilities, so I can’t stay here anymore,” Satyaban thought for a moment. I must go from here and send one of my disciples here, and you will make him the chief here. That way, I will keep in touch with you. ”

Satyaban then returned to his village and taught his son Satyashil to become the village head. But the Satyashil cannot easily acquire that knowledge. It took him exactly five years to complete his education. Five years later, Satyaban said to his son Satyashil, "Take this letter and go to Chitradurga village. "Because of this letter, they will take you as the head of their village."

When Satyasila  reached the village Chitradurga, he saw a man named Gunanath sitting there pretending to be a representative of Satyaban. Satyashil went to Chandrasena's house with his father's letter and told him everything. Chandrasena was very surprised and approached Gunanath.

Hearing all this from Chandrasena, Gunanath said, "I am the representative of Satyaban.

"Hearing this, Satyashil became angry and said, “Surprisingly. So false to resign? ” This time, some people were in favor of Gunanath and others in favor of Satyashil. Some days passed between quarrels and conflictst; One day Satyashil told Chandrasena, "How long will this continue? You should call my father instead. Then everything will be clear. ”On hearing the news, Satyaban came to the village and talked to Gunanath for a while. Gunanath said with great humility, "Sir, I did not come here because of my passion for fame. After you left, the fight started again. A friend of mine called me here to make peace, that's why I came here. Following in your footsteps, I have taken the lead here. I also succeeded in making it an ideal village. I was very angry that your son did not come to me for first and went to the Chandrasena. That's why i told all these lies to save myself from the trouble. Now you came. Save me from it now. ”

Satyaban announced outside that Gunanath was his real representative. He then returned to his village with his son. 

After talking to Vikramark, Betal asked, "Aren't you surprised by Satyaban's honesty?" Satyashil never thought of becoming a village head; Satyaban himself put that all his son's head and taught all the knowledge and declared Gunanath as leader infront of all the villagers. King Vikram said, "Betal, the truth is that Satyban has not disobeyed Satyashila. Rather, it was a lesson to him. If Gunanath is serving the whole village after his response, he should be there. But it has been proven that Satyashil has no qualms about becoming a leader because of his quarrelsome nature. But Gunanath is really working on the ideals of Satyaban. Gunanath is more qualified for the welfare of the village. So accepting and announcing Gunanath as his representative, Satyaban took his son and returned from there.
